Althea and the Dying Tree is a Unity game made during February - April 2023 for CS4455: Video Game Design at Georgia Tech. The team consisted of me, Madison Kim, Carson Anderson, Aparna Arul, and Katie Carlson.

In addition to writing C# scripts and making proper gameplay mechanics, I specifically worked on UI, environment art, and VFX for the game. Examples include the whirlwind effect, transition wipe effect, pickup item glow effect, light barrier, flower/vine growth effect, energy projectile, fire and smoke, and water shader.
Some VFX are based on the tutorials of Gabriel Aguiar Prod.
